"I purchased these along with a matching butter dish. Very impressed with all. The pattern is simple elegance and all can be put in the dishwasher which is important to me. "It seems that the Pfaltzgraff quality is somewhat lacking on the Winterberry. The water glasses are lightweight. They look like they have been in a warehouse for a long time. Not very clean with some blemishes. The accessory pieces were in better condition than the dish sets. I will keep them because they are only being used once a year. Overall they are not what you would expect for new dishes."
"First set was damaged and both shakers had the same number of holes (4), but one hole in one shaker was off-set and completely blocked. Replacement set had the correct number of holes and all looked functional; however, the process used to paint on the green trim lines tends to result in less than satisfactory finish (uneven lines, lines don't connect, or have other imperfections)"
