"I purchased these plates to replace originals that had been broken or chipped over the years. . they are not the same as the original midnight sun plates. . . they are smaller in diameter and shinier than originals. . quite nice but because they can't be used at a place setting with what I have already they lost a star. . sigh"
They mostly match the originals.
"They mostly match the originals. They’re slightly smaller and the cereal bowls are a little bit different shape than the original cereal bowls."

Still a beautiful pattern but
"Still a beautiful pattern but I bought my set 30 years ago and the color, finish pattern and plate style are different. The same but different. Will use and just ignore the difference. Filled with food who will know?"
I have had these plates
"I have had these plates and a lot of bowls and side dishes for over 20 years. They always look great with food on them. Over the years, I had chipped some of them and so re-ordered plates and bowls. Just wish I had ordered more."
I have the original plates
"I have the original plates from the 90's and I expected duplicates. They are heavier, thicker, black not brown, and more slippery. They will be shipped back. These are dollar store quality plates now. I was a big fan and now just disappointed."
Excellent quality in plates, and
"Excellent quality in plates, and even better customer service. They were quick to correct an issue that occurred. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!"
I originally bought this set
"I originally bought this set 33 years ago. Thrilled I can still buy the plates. I think the plates are even better than the original. Great find and price."
